PESO.WEB is the independent practice of Peso Mraz: web, iPhone and Apple Watch products, from first concept to a working launch.
Independent by design
I work on my own, directly with each client. There is no account manager between you and the person writing the code. That keeps decisions fast, communication clear and the result consistent from the first sketch to the last release.
Practical, usable products
I build things that people actually use: a hiking app that tracks a route without signal, a menu that opens in seconds on a phone, a business site that makes it easy to get in touch. Every feature has to earn its place.
What I build
Web development: business websites, web applications with real back ends and installable PWAs. Apple development: native iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI, and Apple Watch companions in watchOS. Where it saves real time I add automation or AI, and I say so when it does not make sense.
From concept to working product
I take care of the whole path: shaping the idea, designing the screens, building and testing the product, publishing it and handing it over. For small businesses that includes the basics around it: domain, e-mail, hosting and SSL, set up in the client's name.
Simple, stable, usable
My priorities, in this order: it works reliably, it is easy to understand, it is easy to maintain. Anything fancy comes last, and only when it helps the person using the product.
Not a big agency
PESO.WEB is not a large agency with layers of process. It is a personal and technical way of working: one person who understands the product end to end, based in Portugal in the Lisbon area.
